Here’s a list of wine businesses, many of which are exhibitors at the festival, keen to sell, provide, supply, deliver (etc) their delicious wines to anyone who’s isolating, needy – or just thirsty.
There is a Winchester (and Hampshire) flavour to the list but it’s by no means limited to this area – in fact, most businesses operate nationwide. There’s even one in France and another in South Africa – plus options for drinkers in Hong Kong, Singapore and beyond…. Not to mention the odd restaurant. Lots of English producers too.
We hope this can help in a very small way during these difficult times. (Worth adding that this list has been compiled at speed and The Wine Festival takes no responsibility for accuracy or reliability of those listed, nor is it updated religiously, so sorry if bits are out of date – always worth double checking details.)
We were delighted to hear from one appreciative small wine retailer recently, who wrote: ‘I just wanted to say a massive thank you – we’ve been (pleasantly) overwhelmed with orders – what a boost for us!!! Just when we thought it would go disastrously for us small businesses, you have helped the opposite happen. We are all experiencing challenges during lockdown so I hope hearing the difference you have made is uplifting!’
Stay positive! Stay safe. Here’s sending you very best wishes from all the Wine Festival team.
