Welcome to Wine Festival Winchester 2020 style – ONLINE! We all need something fun to look forward to, so here it is: a lip-smacking line-up of delicious and fascinating online masterclasses (as above). No need to sign up – it’s all free access, just choose the sessions you fancy, order the (specially discounted) wines in advance for delivery, then make a note in your diary to tune in on the day. Be quick, though, as some stock and places are limited, and we wouldn’t want you to miss out.
You don’t have to have the wines with you to join in but it will be a whole lot more fun (not to mention educational..!) You might want to schedule a ‘side social’ with friends (eg via Zoom, FaceTime, Whatsapp etc) so you can watch and taste along together in lockdown, to make it more fun. And don’t worry – wines keep after you’ve opened them, especially if you stick them in the fridge, so don’t worry about opening more bottles than you might normally consume of a weekend. It will make for an enjoyable end to November!
On the 28th we’ll be joined by very special guests Sam Neill, of Two Paddocks wines in Central Otago (and the odd well known movie) and delightful TV chef Ching He Huang. This in our fun 6pm headlining slot.
We are also running THREE COMPETITIONS as part of this year’s Wine Festival Online, with some amazing prizes. Please click on this link for more: Wine Festival Online Competitions.
